Hedgehog Bread Rolls

Cooking is always a great activity for the kids to do.

They don't just get to learn a lot (about different ingredients, taking instructions, food hygiene), they also get to have fun!

This week the children made their own hedgehog bread roll.  They got to mould the bread into the shape of a hedgehog and cut into the dough to make the spikes - all by themselves. 

And of course, they get to eat it too.  As my son said as he pointed to the inside of the roll; 'there is bread inside!'
