BBQ

After watching the grim weather all day, I braced myself for a gloomy (if not rainy BBQ).

But just a few minutes before we were about to start, the sun came out and the afternoon turned glorious!

The BBQ was a roaring success and it was great to see so many people turn up. Explorer Dan was brilliant getting the children's imagination going and keeping them entertained during the afternoon.  The bouncy castle was pretty busy and the disco tunes got plenty of children dancing (Frank had the best moves!).

We also had some old faces join us as well as new children starting in September, and it was lovely to catch up with Megumi and Clare - thank you both for coming along and pitching in!

Also, thanks to everyone who donated prizes, desserts and salads - there was lots of delicious food for us all - and last but not least thank you to our wonderful staff who worked really hard during the BBQ.

Personally, I love having the grounds just for us - and I know I wasn't the only one.  The children didn't stop and really made the most of it.
